Many communities across Europe are already testing solutions to address the various challenges faced by our ocean, seas and waters. This document provides resources that may support you in developing your project proposal for BlueActionBANOS Open Calls.
You can use these resources to explore how other projects have approached the challenges and identify methods and tools that might be relevant to your local context. You are free to adapt solutions, combine approaches, or develop a unique idea of your own. The resources presented here are intended for you to find some inspiration.
Find your regional hub
Regional hubs, or Lighthouses, support you when you want to take action as part of the EU Mission Ocean and Waters. They work in four regions and offer funding opportunities, expert guidance, and technical assistance to help you realise your project ideas.
Lighthouses are coordinated through:
- BlueActionBANOS in the Baltic and North Sea
- BlueActionAA in the Arctic and Atlantic basins
- SoS2LearnDBS for the Danube River and Black Sea
- TASC-RestoreMed for the Mediterranean Sea
Across all regions, Lighthouses enable communities to learn from and build on solutions developed across Europe.
